Delivery, Pickup & Setup Assistance

The equipment comes to you. I load it, drive it, carry it in, set it up with you, and collect it when the rental period is up. There is no depot to visit and nothing to haul in your own vehicle.

What This Page Covers

The logistics: where we deliver, how the delivery window works, what happens when the equipment arrives, what setup assistance is, and how pickup is scheduled.

For what you should have done before we get there, read the bed bug treatment preparation guide. For where delivery sits in the wider process, see how the bed bug heater rental works end to end.

Where We Deliver

We cover the Houston metro. That means the city itself, the suburbs along the I-10 corridor out through Katy and Brookshire, the north side through Spring, The Woodlands, Tomball and Conroe, the west through Cypress, Richmond and Sugar Land, the south through Pearland, Friendswood, League City and Dickinson, and east through Baytown toward Galveston.

If you are not sure whether your address is covered, call and say the cross streets. It takes ten seconds to answer and it is better than assuming either way.

How the delivery window works

Delivery is scheduled, not a four-hour "sometime today" window with a stranger and a tracking link. We agree a day and an arrival time when you book.

Houston traffic is the honest variable. A Beltway 8 or I-45 run at the wrong hour can move an arrival by half an hour, and if that happens you get a phone call rather than a shrug. Booking earlier in the day generally holds better than mid-afternoon, particularly for anything on the far side of the loop.

What Happens on Delivery Day

The service vehicle arrives, and unloading takes a few minutes. The equipment is not light, so a driveway, a parking space near the door, or a marked loading spot makes a real difference to how long that part takes.

Then we carry it in and place it in the first room you are treating. This is where a rental stops being a drop-off.

We position the heaters and fans with you, run through how the equipment operates, show you how to read the temperature monitoring, talk through cord routing so you are not putting everything on one circuit, and stay until you have run it yourself and are comfortable with it.

Most people are there in about ten minutes.

"Great job guys, I will definitely pass your information to others. Great instructions on how to set up area…"

Access
the part worth mentioning before delivery day

Most delivery problems are access problems, and all of them are avoidable with one sentence on the booking call.

  • Gated communities.Common across Sugar Land, Katy, Cypress and The Woodlands. Either leave a gate code, add the name to the visitor list, or plan to be reachable by phone at the gate.

  • Apartment complexes.Controlled-access lobbies, permit parking and lengthy walks from visitor spaces all add time. If your building has a loading bay or a service entrance, say so.

  • Upper floors and stairs.Third floor with no elevator is a different job to a ground-floor unit. It is not a problem, but it is worth knowing in advance.

  • Driveway and parking.A clear driveway is ideal. Narrow inner-loop streets with no parking outside the house are workable, but the walk-in is longer.

  • Where the equipment is going.Clear a path from the door to the first treatment room before delivery. Moving equipment around furniture you meant to shift anyway wastes the part of the day you would rather spend treating.

Setup Assistance

Standard delivery already includes positioning the equipment and training you on it. Setup assistance is the step beyond that — hands-on help getting rooms arranged and equipment placed, for people who want it.

It is optional, it is separate from the rental, and it is most often taken up by customers treating several rooms at once or working around a property that is awkward to arrange alone.

Ask about setup assistance when you book.

Pickup

Pickup is scheduled at the end of the rental period. The standard rental is a 24-hour period — that is how long you have the equipment, not how long the treatment runs, which is typically four to five hours at temperature.

Two practical points. First, let the equipment cool before it is handled, and let the rooms cool before you move everything back. Second, if you get partway through and realise you need longer, call before the return time rather than after.

Extending a rental is straightforward; rushing the last room to hand equipment back on schedule is the most common way a treatment gets cut short, and a cut-short treatment is a failed one.

What Varies

How Many Rooms Fit in a Day

Room Count

Your Schedule

Weekend delivery works differently to a weekday. Say which you need when you call rather than being offered what happens to be free.

Honest Limits

We deliver equipment and show you how to run it. We do not run the treatment for you, we do not inspect for bed bugs, and we are not a pest control company — the heat treatment is yours to execute, which is the whole point of renting rather than hiring. See DIY heater rental vs professional bed bug treatment.

Delivery also cannot rescue a room that has not been prepared. If the equipment arrives and the rooms are still packed, the day gets spent on preparation instead of treatment, and the rental clock is already running.
