Pro Heat 100 Bed Bug Heater Package
The Pro Heat 100 is our mid package, and it is the one most people actually need. It is sized for a single room bed bug heater rental — one bedroom, one guest room, a study where somebody has been sleeping on the couch — and for spot treatment where the problem is caught early and has not spread.

What this page covers
What a single-room job with the Pro Heat 100 involves, what spot treatment can and cannot do, how much of a room the heater output and fan configuration will hold at temperature, and when you should be looking at something larger instead.
Why A Single Room is a Different Job
The room is not really the target. The furniture in it is.
Bed bugs concentrate within a few feet of where somebody sleeps — mattress seams, the box spring frame, the joints of a headboard, the underside of a nightstand, the carpet edge along the baseboard behind the bed. Air in a room reaches 135°Ffairly quickly.
The centre of a mattress and the inside of a box spring lag well behind it, sometimes by an hour or more.
That lag is the entire reason the treatment runs four to five hoursrather than one. You are not waiting for the room. You are waiting for the densest thing in the room to catch up and cross 118°Ffor adults and nymphs and 122°Ffor eggs.
This is where the temperature probe stops being an accessory — you place it where the heat arrives last, not where it arrives first.
Fan configuration matters more in a small room than people expect. A closed closet, the gap behind a dresser and the space under a bed frame are all sheltered from the heater's direct output, and they are exactly the places bed bugs move to as a room warms.
Fans are how those spaces get treated. Open every drawer, open the closet, and let the air move.
What Varies
No two houses in this metro heat the same way.
Set Up Time
A one-room job with the Pro Heat 100 is a short setup and a long wait. Realistically it is preparation in the morning, a four to five hour run, then cooling and putting the room back. If you have a second room to do afterwards, you are into the evening, which is where people either sequence badly or start rushing the second run.
Power Requirement
The Pro Heat 100 pulls less than the Elite 4, which is a genuine advantage in older Houston homes on 100-amp panels. It is still not a lamp. Run the extension cords to outlets on separate circuits where you can, and do not put a heater and a couple of fans on the same breaker as the kitchen.
How Container a Room is
A bedroom with a door that closes holds temperature. A room open to a hallway or a stairwell bleeds it continuously, and the heater spends the whole run fighting the rest of the house instead of holding the space. Closing the room off properly changes the run more than the package size does.
How Early You Caught it
This package suits a low to medium problem. If bites started a couple of weeks ago and you are finding evidence in one bedroom, one room is a realistic scope. If you are finding evidence on a living room couch as well, the problem has already moved and treating one room will not hold.

Honest Limits
The Problem with Spot Treatment
Spot treatment works when the problem is genuinely in one spot. The failure mode is well understood: heat a room and the bed bugs at the edge of the heated zone move away from it.
If the room next door is untreated and reachable, you have relocated part of the problem rather than killing it.
So treat the whole room, not the bed. Treat the adjoining space if there is any sign of activity in it. And accept the three things heat cannot get to: cold spots far from the equipment, clutter stacked against walls and floors, and wall voids in trailer construction and some older framing.
Heat does not prevent re-infestation. It kills what is in the room on the day. Nobody here will offer you a guarantee, and the honest driver of the outcome is your preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Pro Heat 100
What size space does this package cover?
It is sized in rooms rather than square feet, because a closed bedroom and an open-plan space of the same floor area behave completely differently. The Pro Heat 100 is the package for one contained room at a time, and how much of that room reaches temperature depends on whether the door closes and whether the far corner has airflow.
How many rooms can I treat at once with it?
One at a time. You can treat more than one room inside a rental period by sequencing, bedrooms first, then anywhere else with evidence, but each treated area needs its own four to five hours at temperature plus setup and cooling. Two rooms in a day is realistic if you start early. Three is where most people run out of daylight and should be looking at a second day.
What is included in this package?
Heater, fans, extension cords and a temperature probe, plus delivery, setup with you and pickup at the end of the rental period. The training is the part people say mattered most, it is not a manual left on the counter.
Is this enough for my situation, or do I need the bigger one?
If the evidence is in one bedroom and the room closes off, this is the right package and the Elite 4 would be money spent on capacity you cannot use. Move up if you have three or more rooms to treat, or if the rooms are spread across the house. If it is one small bedroom or an apartment, look at the Budget Package instead.
What does this package cost and what is the deposit?
Ask about the deposit and the extra-day rate on the same call so there is nothing left to find out at pickup.
