What this site is, and what it is not
This site explains a bed bug heat equipment rental service and publishes general guidance about bed bug heat treatment. It is information, not instruction for operating equipment, and it is not pest control advice for your specific property.
Temperature figures published on this site — including 118°F for adults and nymphs and 122°F for bed bug eggs — are drawn from Virginia Tech Cooperative Extension and are cited on the pages where they appear. They are published to help you understand how heat treatment works. They are not operating instructions. The manufacturer's documentation supplied with the equipment governs how that equipment is set up and run, and it takes precedence over anything written here.
We do not promise any particular outcome from a heat treatment. Whether a treatment succeeds depends on preparation, clutter, room layout, how thoroughly the space reaches temperature and other things outside our control. Heat does not prevent bed bugs returning.
Renting equipment is a separate agreement
Nothing on this site is an offer to contract. Rates quoted by phone are estimates based on what you describe, and a rental is agreed when a written rental agreement is signed at delivery. That agreement, together with {Service Link: our rental policies [/rental-policies/]}, governs the rental itself — deposits, damage, delivery limits, late return and everything else. Where those terms and these terms differ, the signed rental agreement controls.
Accuracy of what is published here
We keep the content accurate and update it when we learn something better. Prices, package contents, delivery areas and availability change, and the page you are reading may be behind. Anything that matters to your decision should be confirmed on the phone before you book.
Content on this site
The text, layout, images and design of this site belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to read it, print it for your own use and link to it. You may not republish it as your own or use it commercially without written permission.

We link to outside sources — extension services and similar — where they are genuinely useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
